Reading and Crash Course Homework Grading Rubric

  • = 15/15 or 100%

    A check plus means that the assignment (reading text-coding assignment or Crash Course video assignment) was completed with great detail and examples along with well thought out questions or personal connections that show critical thinking.  The student put in a great deal of effort for the assignment.  

      

    = 12/15 or 80% 

    A check mark means that that assignment (reading text-coding assignment or Crash Course video assignment) was completed but lacked some detail or examples and the questions and personal connections were general and show some critical thinking.  The student put in some effort.  

      

    =9/15 or 60% 

    A check minus means that the assignment (reading text-coding assignment or Crash Course video assignment) was complete with little to no detail or was partially completed.  The assignment showed the most basic of questions or personal connections, possibly copied from the text, and no critical thinking.  The student put little effort into completing the assignment.
