5th Grade Math

Fifth Graders will need to know their multiplication facts this year to be successful in math.  We will do a lot of multiplication and division, including multiplication and division of fractions and decimals.  

Unit 1- Chapter 1:Students will be working on whole number place value and multiplication. Students will be working on powers of 10 and exponents.  Students will also be multiplying multi-digit numbers.

Please practice the multiplication facts at home.  These are necessary for 5th grade math, and charts are not allowed.
