College Resources
The Common App
The common application for college is preferred by many colleges. It is an application in which
the students can fill in their demographics and personal information one time and have it sent to
many schools instead of filling out several separate applications. Along with students only
having to fill it out one time, it also allows me to upload their information just one time to
colleges they selected.
The common application can be found at: www.commonapp.org
Financial Aid
All students planning on attending college will need to fill out a FAFSA application online at
fafsa.gov. Applications are available from October 1 through June 30th. I will assist if students
and parents need help.
Scholarships
Students are encouraged to visit the following websites to search for applicable scholarships. Throughout the year, the SC Office will share scholarship information through Parent Square as available. Students are welcome to check in with the SC Office for any updates regarding available scholarships.
