5th Grade E.L.A.

We are beginning the year with a new reading series.  We will be using the series "Amplify". This year we will also be reading at least 4 novels.  This will help make students stronger readers.

We will be writing several 5-7 paragraph essays this year. Students will work on increasing the information in introductory and concluding paragraphs. Paragraphs will average 5 sentences each.
